We aim to foster new collaborations between arts organizations and artists from PALOP (Portuguese-Speaking African Countries), Southern Africa, and the Americas. By sharing best practices, we seek to promote and preserve the identities of BIPOC artists across both continents while creating new opportunities for market engagement and global impact.
Canadian artists selected for our showcase will be invited to perform at one or more of our venue or festival partners in Angola, Brazil, South Africa, and Mozambique.
International artists chosen will perform for Canadian festival and venue program directors, as well as for industry professionals, creating opportunities for across-country tour.
